Cruise in spacious comfort aboard The Yankee Freedom II, the fastest, largest and most state-of-the-art vessel ferrying passengers to Fort Jefferson Dry Tortugas National Park. The Yankee Freedom II is a high-speed boat certified to carry 250 passengers; however, to maximize the comfort of each guest, we limit each trip to 100 passengers. Our veteran captain and friendly crew will take you to one of the most unique and spectacular national parks in the United States.
En route to Dry Tortugas National Park our onboard naturalist will
give you an orientation about the area and the national park's surroundings.
During your voyage to one of America's most remote National Parks, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Marquesa Islands, Boca Grande, and frequent turtle and dolphin sightings.
The
boat also features a large, fully air conditioned main cabin, comfortable
cushioned seats, three restrooms, fresh water rinse shower, full
galley serving snacks, soft drinks, beer, wine, mixed drinks, film,
and souvenirs.
The upper deck is open to the sea air and sights and sounds of marine life. There is spacious shaded and un-shaded sundeck seating with areas to stretch out and enjoy the sunshine and the view. Also topside there's a convenient cocktail bar.
Upon
arriving at Dry Tortugas National Park, passengers will disembark
at Fort Jefferson, located on Garden Key, and have the option of
joining a 40-minute guided tour of the fort. Following the tour,
you will enjoy a complimentary picnic buffet of fresh deli meats
and cheeses (we also have peanut butter and jelly for the little
ones), potato and pasta salad, chips, lemonade and iced tea. You
may wish to enjoy your lunch underneath the shade of a palm tree
in the park's picnic area.
Visitors can take advantage of the swimming, snorkeling, beach
walking, exploring, birding, and the flora and fauna of this pristine
island. (Snorkel gear may be borrowed free of charge from the Yankee
Freedom II.)
After reboarding in mid-afternoon we will depart, arriving back in Key West at approximately 5:30 p.m.

*Includes $10 fuel surcharge per person.
$5 park entrance fee to be paid at check-in. (This must be cash.)
